Grilled Cheese Yumminess

Yesterday, I saw this post about  fancy grilled cheese 9 ways and I just wanted to make one as well.  And so I did make one for my breakfast.   Its very easy to make.  You don't really have to have a panini maker or a sandwich maker.  A regular frying pan is good to go. :-)  Just make a regular sandwich, in my case, I made a cream cheese and bologna sandwhich.  And then I just placed it in the pan with a little butter and just "grilled" it.  In my case,  I kind of fried it. haha. :-)  So, let it hang in there for a bit until it becomes brown and kind of crispy.  Do the same on the other side.  Voila!  Bon appetit!

I would love to make more of the grilled cheese sandwiches especially now that it's getting a bit cooler day by day.  It would be nice to have it with a cream based soup too! And the best part is, you could eat it with the ones you love!!!
I'm hoping to try all of these!!!

Seafood Sunday and Ida Time

Yes, I know that this post is kind of late, having given the title of Seafood Sunday whereas today is a Monday, but its better late than never! :-) It has just been 2 weeks since I have started blogging again and so I am still trying to get the hang of things.  This was really not in my daily routine before, but now, I am going to fit it in my schedule and try my very best to set aside a little bloggy blog time.  :-)

We had seafood yesterday for lunch.  My sister and her boyfriend cooked lobster in buttery sauce and crabs with coconut milk.  It was yumm-oh!  It made me crave for more. hahaha. :-)  I ate so much that I felt so sleepy and lazy afterwards.

everybody enjoyed the seafood sunday special.  I wish my baby was there too.
I just wanted to relax that afternoon so I had my usual Ida time.  I put on my face mask, painted my nails hot pink while I was watching Friends with Benefits.  I should be having more of those because recently, I have really been too stressed at work and other things that I just need time to pamper myself for a little bit.  I need to reward myself from time to time because I believe I deserve it.  :-)

I was planning to sleep a bit early but that did not happen.  *wink*  Me and Glenn were on the phone till about 11pm.  It's really amazing how we can go on and on and on talking on the phone and never running out of topics to talk about.  Sometimes its the random things that just makes the conversation even more interesting.  Plus of course, I would never get tired of all the cheesiness <3  And I guess it's just the fact that I love talking with him.  :-) Oh, and I love him... so much!

Hope you had a lovely Sunday!  What are your plans this week?  I will be listing down all the stuff that I have to do, put a deadline and have to really stick to it.  I believe it would not be a problem because I really am inspired right now! *wink*  Let's just say that there is this G to the L-E-N-N that always keeps me going. :-)Did I ever mention that he is my inspiration?  Well, if not, then I would like everybody to know that he is my one and only true love, my inspiration. :-)

First Fall SaturDate

I spent the first Saturday of Fall with my Glenn.  Its not really a surprise because we almost always spend our Saturdays together. And that is definitely THE # 1 thing that I look forward to on weekdays.  Its only during Saturdays that I get to spend the whole day with him so that really excites me.  :-)  Oh, and just to let you know, its our first fall together! That just made our Saturdate extra extra special with whipped cream and caramel sprinkles on top! <3
He was working that day so I picked him up. I got there very early so I just hung out at Mcdonald's, where there is free wifi. :-)  I was thinking of something to make him happy.  Even though he worked half day, I knew that he was exhaused.  Poor baby. :-(
While he was changing his clothes and putting his stuff in the trunk, I posted this little love note on the stirring wheel. Its just a little something to brighten up his day.  Besides, I had spare time while waiting for him to finish work, remember? :-)  And also, I love and I REALLY REALLY LOVE doing things that makes him happy.  When he got inside the car, I saw it.  That smile.  The smile that always melts my heart knowing that he appreciates everything that I am doing for him.   I love seeing that look on his face.  <3  It takes me back to the time when I first saw him, on our first date! Yup!  The first time I saw him was on our first date!  Don't worry, I will definitely write about how we first met.... Not tonight, though. :-)

Since he worked that day, we did not plan to spend the whole day out.  It doesn't really matter whether we spend our day at the mall or at a park or just at home.  What matters is that we spent the day together.  Moving on, our first stop was at Starbucks.  We enjoyed our after-6th-month-anniversary-dinner-coffee-date so much that we wanted to do it again.  Plus, its just nice to sit down and talk.  We both had salted caramel mocha frappuccino.  Its just so yummy <3  I had Pashminers with me at that time so we chose the photos to be printed. There's a Shoppers nearby so that was our next stop.  :-)  We have been planning for so long to have our pictures printed to have it framed.  And finally, we were able to do so... the printing part.

I just love how my nail polish matches the straw.  and my shoes!!! See first image of this post. *wink*

We headed to his place afterwards.  We had lunch and watched Kung Fu Panda 2.  While watching, I was doing more of my "little somethings to brighten his day".  And it did brighten his day! yay!!! :-)  We ate dinner and cuddled while watching the movie. <3  He also got his guitar and sang for me.  The day would never be complete without him singing for me.  Again, another one of the reasons why I fell and am still falling inlove with him.  I guess I need to make a list of the reason why I love him.  *wink*  I'll be working on that soon!!!

I had the best treat that night, a very relaxing massage from him. Isn't he just the best?  He was the one who worked that day and yet he was the one pampering me.  He just loves me so much.  And  I feel the same way for him too!  After the half hour massage from him, he wasn't done.  He set up his back massager on his car seat so that I can take a nap while the massager is on.  So sweet <3 I then started massaging his arms and hands while he was resting.  I really have to learn how be good at it.  If I am really good at giving massages, I would be doing it to him every time. :-)

Now that the weather is changing and little by little it gets more chilly, I prefer home dates.  Just watching movies, cuddling on the couch, having conversations, looking at him and seeing that he is happy with me.   Basically, spending the day with the one you love is priceless.  <3  Having him in my life is the best gift that God has blessed me with and I am really thankful.

Hope you enjoyed your weekend!

Fall

Fall had just began.  The chilly breeze, crisp fallen leaves, splashes of colour, holding hands while strolling, pumpkin spice lattes, movie nights, cozy cuddly moments.  What are your plans this fall?  Later, I will pick up my boyfriend from work, have a coffee date and movie day with him.  I'm so excited.

Just Can't Get Enough

Glenn picked me up from work the yesterday and it was just oh so wonderful.  As always. :-)  I know he was so tired from work so even though he insisted that he wasn't hungry, I just had to nag for him to stop somewhere so that we can get foodies. We headed to Popeye's to get chicken and snacked it up on the way home! Yes, we ate chicken while we were still on the road.  I was the one holding the chicken and making him take bites.  <3 Oh, I just love the feeling of being able to take care of my man and knowing that he appreciates everything that I have been doing for him.

We opened the snail mail I received from Jane and read it together.  It made me happy when I saw him light up after reading the letter.   (There was a part there that says that its a good thing that we are so good together and my friend is just happy to see us so inlove. <3 )  Who wouldn't be?  I would be happy for my friends too, defiinitely!!!
I think these photos would clearly show how happy we are.  We just can't get enough of each other.  How I wish I could spend everyday with him.  <3

Just so you know, I RARELY take whacky pictures because I was not comfortable about it.  But being with him just makes me always feel at ease.  And he assured me that even if I would look not so pretty in the photos because of all the faces we made, he still loves me. haha! :-)  I know I tend to be insecure at times but he taught me how to let loose and just have fun.  We're not getting any younger and we just have to savour every moment together.  <3

I've Got Mail

I've got mail.  Yes, I entered the room and I saw something laying at the center of my bed.  A pink envelope.  I knew exactly who sent it because I  recognized the envelope.  It's from a very dear friend back home.

I love receiving snail mails from friends.  I actually prefer them over electronic mails just because they are  much more personal.  You know that the person who sent it put effort into it, basically taking time to actually write its content.  Plus, they add little cute trinkets too.  The only thing that I don;t like about it is that it takes too long for it to arrive here.  And by "too long", it means 2 weeks.  But atleast there is always something to look forward to.  Anyway, here is a peak of what Jane sent me:

cute vibrant band-aids (basically to make you still cute even  if you have a booboo <3 ) a strip of floral tape, bus tickets from the day she sent the mail (she is just like me... taking all the souveneirs she can get. haha. ) and the letter itself. :)  Oh, and there is also a sprinkle of pinkish red glitters when you open the envelope!!!

I just thought that I'd share it with all of you .  I'll be blogging more later as I need to work right now. Well, do I really have to?haha. :)

The 6th

Yes, its the 6th. <3 We have been together for 6 magical months.  But honestly, it feels way much longer. .. and I love every single moment. :-)

What a way to start the week.  I have always been looking forward to celebrate our monthly annniversaries.  And I love the fact that he also believes in this monthly anniversary traditions. <3It doesn't matter if its early on the week, or a weekend. We just have to celebrate it.  However, if our schedules does not allow us to see each other, there is always our trustee last resort, Skype!  Fortunately on our 6th, which was on Monday, 19th of September, we were able to celebrate it together!

I get so excited whenever he picks me up from work and that is why right at 4:59, I log off  from my computer and at exactly 5pm, I punch out and leave the office.  It has always been and will forever be this way.  I have so much love for him that I almost always miss him.  Okay, not almost always.  ALWAYS! :-)  (and just so you know, as I am typing this right now, I am missing him.  I bet someone will blush when he reads this a little later today. You know who you are. *wink* )

So anyway, he picked me up from work and then headed off to Staples because I wanted to buy a handy sketchbook that would fit in my purse.  Unfortunately, we had no luck in finding one.  All they had were the giant ones.  They are of good quality but its just way too big to be carrying around everywhere.  The search for my handy sketchbook will be put on hold until the weekend. On another note, he did give me this cute post it organizer!  I love it.  Its very pretty to look at and will even be much prettier to write something on it!!!

Next stop was our dinner date at Maxs.  We were running in circles in choosing which food to order.  Finally, we settled with the Quarter meal platter which included a quarter chicken, garlic rice, a healthy serving of pancit and a caramael bar.  We ordered palabok as well just to satisfy our cravings.  :-)  We had conversations over dinner, reminiscing the times when we were just getting to know each other.  Until now, my heart still melts every time we talk about those things.  It still gives me butterflies in my tummy.  The magical spark is still present and I believe it will neve go away.  <3  Everything was going fine until our waitress interrupted us in the middle of dinner, with the dessert and the bill.  Apparently, she will be on her break so she just needed to do that! Talk about being so rude!!!  But whatever, we did not let that ruin our night.  :-)  I wrote a little note on some courtesy 101 on the bill, and i wrote it in pink so definitely she won't miss it!! haha!

We headed over to Starbucks near my place to have coffee.  I ordered him the Pumpkin Spice Latte and I just had to try the new Salted Caramel Mocha Frapp! Yummy! It was raining at that time, which even made the ambience even cozier.  <3

We did not stay too long at Starbucks.  Just a little chit chat and a few snapshots and then we left.  We did not want to stay up too late since it was a Monday, which clearly meant that we are still going to work the next day and the next and so on. :-)

Our 6th month anniversary was  just full of la-la-Love! :-)  I still thank my lucky stars that I am blessed with the most wonderful guy.  There is nothing more that I can ask for.  <3

I love you, my Glenn! Happy 6th <3

One Last Trip Before the Summer Ends... @ the Bluffers Park & Marina

Hello there! Its been 3 days since my last post so let me just give you a recap of my weekend. :)

Summer is almost about to end, we can feel that it gets kind of chilly day after day which only means one thing- fall is on its way.  Apparently, my body got so used to the summer heat that the instant change of weather gave me jolt, thus leaving me in a terrible state of sniffles. boo :(  Because of this, I was sent home by my boss.  I could not work properly as I was really not feeling well.  So yeah, at about 1:30 pm, I got sent home (it sounded like I was a student being sent home. hahaha. :) ) and I did not hesitate because I really really REALLY was not feeling well.  My eyes were puffy and teary, my nose was all red and clogged which made me have a hard time breathing.

I got home about 3pm and just rested.   We (Glenn and myself) did not have the usual Friday night date because he was scheduled to work the next day, which only meant that we cannot stay up too late.  And since I was also in a desperate need of rest, sleep and lots of water, we just had to postpone the Friday date to a Saturday Date at the Bluffers Park and Marina!

Whenever he works on a Saturday, I pick him up from work and then we have brunch and go somewhere.  This weekend, being the last weekend of summer, we decided to go to Bluffers Park and Marina! :)  We ate nuggets and fries on the way to the park. Its just so romantic and I love the feeling whenever he drives and I get to feed him.  <3  I just love taking care of him.

So yeah, we went to the Park! It was really lovely. It was perfect!  The weather was just fine, it was just a bit breezy, but we were dressed warmly.  Plus, of course, holding hands and a lot of hugging. *wink* :)  The view was very breathtaking and overwhelming.  We just could not help but sigh in awe.  Nature in its finest! And what made it even better was that I get to experience every bit of it with my one and only baby. <3  Here are some of the photos that we took! Enjoy!!!

<3 oh so lovely <3
Paradise!!!  I will never get tired of staring at this oh so wonderful sight :-)  Wouldn't it be nice to have a house and have a garden like this? And a manmade lake would definitely be a bonus too! *wink*
Glenn LOVES Ida
So tranquil and calm... This takes your blues away even for just a moment.
My baby just can't get enough of me <3
I simply love this guy! :)

We sat down by the beach, watched the waves hit the shore and had conversations and sweet nothings.  We didn't even notice that time flew by so quickly.  Time really does fly so fast when you are with your special someone and you are savouring every little bit of it. <3
Awww... It looks so romantic. The crisp fallen leaves made the ambience even cozier.  *sigh*  Fall is definitely making its way.
I blend in with the floral background. :-)  I wanted so bad to pick some flowers but Glenn did not allow me. hahaha!!! Apparently, some of these lovely beauties are weeds, which he is allergic to.  Fortunately, he agreed to take my picture... (although he did not want to be in the picture. hahaha. poor baby )
This was taken by the bridge overlooking the marshy river/lake or whatever the small body of water is called.
My hero <3 My love <3 My other half <3
Glenn picked a flower and gave it to me.  I made it as an imaginary ring! I love it <3  It matches with my nailpolish!!!
Our love was "carved" in the tree. :-) okay, I lied.  It was just written on the tree.
The rocky obstacle.
At the Marina...
Yet another pretty sight... <3
and another one!!!
one of the floating houses that caught my eye!!!
We had the best time at the Bluffers Park and Marina and we did not even spend anything.  It is one of those free dates that we love oh so much.  And before summer officially ends, we just had to take this one last trip to the park.

Cozy Saturday + Park + Strolling with my Glenn = JUST PERFECT <3

I hope you enjoyed your last weekend of summer too.  I know I did! :)
